I've been to a few waterfalls in my life and none is close to the one where my old "kampung" used to be before our long house got re-settled. It's called "Belanum" 'buh=la-noom' .Belanum waterfall is one of the best one ever.. it has a big waterfall to go with it and few smaller ones.. the water was freezing cold and it was very clear. Well except when it rains, as you'll find it looking abit like "teh C" :D but no matter its just soil being washed into the river..

What prompted me to write about this? i just went on a picnic at "Lambir national Park" recently at "Latak Waterfall" hehe nice... but even with that waterfall.. its nothing compared to "Belanum". So many 'wat ifs' played in my mind and also so many 'if only'. The only way to get to "Belanum" now is by boat i think.. not sure whether its still there.. it could be underwater now.. because of Bakun Dam. For more background of this waterfall, its located at the Rejang River, somewhere near an area called "Long Sah".Thats where my long house used to be, "Uma Belun". Belanum is about 7 minutes boatride going upriver. I remember you can see fishes in the river there.. the generation after me sure did miss alot of things... erm... not all of them :P . But God has bigger and better waterfall in heaven i think.. i can only imagine.
