So far my favourite coffee is still the one from San Francisco Coffee..
somehow others dont really beat the way their beans makes my tastebuds go GaGa.
Or probably its the effect of the coffee? had a Quadraple shot Latte tonight just to keep me up, and heck it taste soo Good!!! Thanks to my favourite Barista :D who made it possible.

But i have to say its all preference really.. as for me my pref is San Fran Viennesse Coffee. Its smooth strong and enticing all at the same time. It really caught on to me since the first time i had it few years back. Since then Viennese coffee really got me on.

Well one thing about San Francisco Coffee in Miri is the connection the staff have with the Customers. They make the effort to remember their names and make them their friends and of course remember how the customer like their coffee! Kudos to Frank the Manager of Miri Branch who did a good job at customizing my drinks :P and the rest of the Staffs! Its a pity that they had to move to bintang 3rd floor, as the place they were at before was awesome.. its just away from Bintang area.. which has crappy parking system. Anyhow.. here's some of the latest promo they have for this season do check it out :)

Well i've been working all night since the past one month, and yes i've been keeping my self fit. Im fit as a barrel. Fit as i can be.. even my pants that was abit loose before this, now fits me perfectly :P

Had my volleyball tournament on saturday morning, lasted till afternoon. It was fun, tiring but enjoyed every single moment of it. Thanks also to Shirley and Pam that came to watch for a while, having you there made a big difference in my game :) love you lots!. And all the friends that were there to enjoy the game i salute you :D the game wouldnt be the same without you guys!

I Played my heart out :D ... but at first everything was tense for me till i just cant take the seriousness of it all and jsut went crazy.. haha.. well in a good way. It was so tense, in the first 2 match.. so some excite would be good. after losing the first match my right Shoulder was already aching like crazy from an old injury, so i subbed out for a while in the second match.. and while waiting i took 2 empty bottles and start supporting my group, it was too quiet and too tense so more noise would rally them up (well it sure rallied me up :P ) then i went to few of my other friends to join me in the noise making cheer :P

hahaha so there were noise alright.. second game was really close cos it was tie breaking game again. Sadly we lost the second game. But there was still that third game. This time I was Back in. And this time i had few others who know what they're supposed to do already... CHEER ME :P BLUEK hahahaaha well cheer the team la.. make noise.. but i purposely told them to shout my name jsut for the fun of it hahahahaha it was fun. I went crazy... But HECK! I WAS FLYING! I spiked my heart out, my reflexes was faster than ever.. i was running here and there and i was having so much fun! And guess what.... We WON! LOL. Well the not just because of me la.. of course.. its a team effort. They were affected by the cheering too. When u have friends that supports you .. its not only you playing... its you and them together.

Then right after 3 matches against Petronas, we had our match against Team Leonex. Whom are also our practice partners. They have grown soooo much in 3 months. They lost to us but not without a fight. Vinodth, tallest guy in the game blocked most of my spikes! they were good.. they played well. For a group that just started playing for almost 3 months.. i'd say Coach Scott did a very Good JOB! KUDOS! :D

Me and Lejo were hungry, so we open up our stash of food in our self made "Bar".
So i took out OREO :D yum yum.. but i as i checked the side of the OREO packet i saw holes.. made by stretching and aging of the packet. Checked the date on the packet.. it's only expiring next year... but still.. ada lubang sudah... JENG! JENG! JENG! JENG!!
So i openned the packet, and see if there's anything LIVING in the packet.

......... no signs of living organism.. hmmm............

Lejo took one and put in his mouth straight.. then his face change.. after he chewed a couple of times.. hahaha STALE sudah.. so we throw away all of them..
well i ate it as well.. to confirm! hahahaha boys...

oh well... :P

Still at the office swimming in my data tranfers. Two more weeks to go.. so many things to do.. so little time. How many hours in a day can we do to actually finish this project. This is usually the question that flies through the minds of our team members, not excluding me.. well by hook or by crook we have to finish it.. this project means alot to me.. pray that we'll persevere and actually make it through victoriously (*Majestic war music playing in the background*)

But even in the midst of the heavy weight of work.. more often than not.. this touch of my feeling slowly sneakup behind me and remind me of more reason in life than just living.. This week is a total contradiction of the saying.. "out of sight out of mind" for me..

After the whistle was blown.. i ran fast as my legs could carry me. I can hear the rest of the runners behind me and i can see another runner ahead of me. "Argh.. cant seem to shake them off!" ... "where is he?" i look back to the grandstand.. i can see myriads of people but where is he? "sigh.. im running my last event and he's not there to see me."

Its another 100 m left to reach the next runner, seems so far away and my legs are aching. I didnt want to look back to the grandstand just to see he's not there, but i cant help it.. probably he's there.. i believe so... he wished me luck just now, so he must be there! So i looked again to the grandstand ... as my eyes scanned the grandstand as quick i as i could...
Indeed! There he is! He's waving at me!

As if the winds from the four corners of the world came to my aid, my pace was hasten, i have more energy in my legs than all the other events i've lost. Now it does not matter that they're all much older or taller than me.. i will finish this and i will win this. Strength were just flowing to my limbs as every step i took gave me the leading edge, I cant believe it! i've just passed the first runner!

There's no looking back now.. Abang is looking at me.. im giving my best that's all that matters, thats what he told me. Im leading now.. its only 10 metres left..
5 metres.. YES!!! I've done it!

We won.. we won the 200 x 4 relay. I was the first runner. I am a winner. And we are the Champions. Now for my reward.. Secret Recipe :)

The new nicks we got ourselves today :D Buang Puti (White Bear) & Lejo Pitem (Black Panther)
Here's the story... it started off with Pitem Mi getting His new official Kayan name : Lejo (which means Tiger) Got his name Lejo because of the tiger tattoo he has on his arm :)
And all of the sudden one morning, Lejo asked me what is Bear in Kayan, so i said Buang.. then since then he had been calling me Buang. So the story of Lake' Buang came along as well, but that will be for another post altogether.

So since Lejo is from the Pitem Mi clan and im from the Puti Mi clan.. He became the Lejo Pitem of the Pitem Mi clan and i became the Buang Puti from the Puti Mi clan :D
Thus comes... Black Panther and White Bear!

I miss my family... all of them.. Luke, Alvin, Jon, Josh, Lydia.. Mom Dad.
My life ain't complete without them :D Im glad to be in my family, no matter what the ups and downs are.. i love my family. We actually care alot more than we actually do show or say to one another in the family.. but when it comes to situations that involves any of us, none hesitate or even think twice to butt in.

Played volleyball yesterday, felt good just playing but i think im out of rhythm. Not integrated into the team yet i guess. I enjoy playing with the KEC team, even when we're losing.. but we tried our very best.. :) which im actually bit proud of.. from my form 2 years, we tried so hard playing against few of the best teams in Miri, "The Field Force Camp" team, Lost but we didnt lose in spirit. Skinny little boys going against the men's team and actually gave them abit of a challenge. We didnt win anything, but as years goes by we got fourth place.. then Third for two years in a row.. and now everyone's left.

I miss my friends.. Abi, Anderson, Kevin, Andrew, Rom, Leo, Ian, Byron ... everyone that was in the team.. where was that zeal that they had after the game? now va.. of coming back with a bang somewhere around this year... or was it last year? :( its sad la.. now i play here and there.. its not the same.. but the game is still good. So, have i improved? very little.. because, im not in a proper team. only now, im trying to get used to this team. I know im better than how i am now. I can be much much better than even when i was before. I miss the team. Now.. to focus on this team.. and make it "The Team" which i will grow in...

hmm.. i was looking for photos to put up here.. but i think i'll wait till i get our own photos..

so Doc, suggested that i start taking Cod liver oil capsules to actually boost my immune system.

I have this book called "The Teacher Teacher Joke Book" :D thanks to Linzhi, she lent this book to me until the whole family comes back from wherever they would be in these few years.. :P
Its a fun read, some of them aren't that funny because you'll need to have certain American background and understanding to get the joke. But here's one i'd like to share.

Lydia's first time on roller blades.. Haha funny. Mind the kayan.. :P me and Jon was trying to tell her what to do..

But i dont see her playing her blades anymore.. more like my "hangat-hangat tahi ayam" thing as wel hahaha. She's into her bike now.. sigh.. siblings.. gets on your nerve but misses them alot when they're not around.

I have been much much influenced by this series.. and im greatly happy as it has somehow revived my much deteriorated English and bring it to form again. here's a little something..

Yesterday i have met a new static friend who will keep quite to what ever i do and will no retaliate at all if hurt or whatsoever.. meet my new friend... "BuBu the stressful FISH".

He's a bit cranky because of his nature.. :P

Ultimate! Another game to add to my favourites.. it has a lot of speed, accuracy and team work. A whole lot of fun too. It doesnt matter how old you are but you stil can play this game, just that age and height might be of a disadvantage but with teamwork.. all things are almost possible :) just last week we had a little kid to play with us. He was short, very small sized.. and accuracy and skill still quite low.. but... that boy can run. And he has the energy of an energizer bunny. Which is his strongpoints. I think his name was Elijah. The Point im making here is everyone has a part to play in a game. May it be even just for distractions or just to catch, or even just to stand at a strategic position, the whole team work as a unit.

We also have another boy in our team who's bit slow when it comes to running, and not so great in catching.. but his hammer is one of the best. Just put him in the center of the field and wait for the hammer in the "end zone". None other than Daniel.

Im excited that more and more people are coming on sundays for ultimate. Met and made new friends. Hoping more would come and actually come to play the game :) or even just watch.

Today my friend peeked at my blog.. wah malu aku.. and i was just thinking.. who would even read my blog. oh well.. i'll just blog to keep track of what i've thought :D for those knowing me know that i have quite bad memory.

Since i was young i was associated with the name Indy, which i dont mind at all.. hehe also because one my favourite hero is Indiana Jones. But so far.. no funny names were attached to me until..... my Indian genius cousin came and share my cubicle LOL. For some unknown reason.. one day he just came in and decided he wanted to call someone in the office Bubu. And he chose his prey.. ME! it was supposed to be for the day.. but i lasted for a week.. then some how it lasted till now..

But i've grown accustomed to it.. since i call him bear. hehehe... now this cubicle is inhabited by Yogi bear and Bu Bu bear. i dont mind it .. in fact im thankful :) i've got another friend. An Indegenous and an Indian Genius. LOL.

I've been to a few waterfalls in my life and none is close to the one where my old "kampung" used to be before our long house got re-settled. It's called "Belanum" 'buh=la-noom' .Belanum waterfall is one of the best one ever.. it has a big waterfall to go with it and few smaller ones.. the water was freezing cold and it was very clear. Well except when it rains, as you'll find it looking abit like "teh C" :D but no matter its just soil being washed into the river..

What prompted me to write about this? i just went on a picnic at "Lambir national Park" recently at "Latak Waterfall" hehe nice... but even with that waterfall.. its nothing compared to "Belanum". So many 'wat ifs' played in my mind and also so many 'if only'. The only way to get to "Belanum" now is by boat i think.. not sure whether its still there.. it could be underwater now.. because of Bakun Dam. For more background of this waterfall, its located at the Rejang River, somewhere near an area called "Long Sah".Thats where my long house used to be, "Uma Belun". Belanum is about 7 minutes boatride going upriver. I remember you can see fishes in the river there.. the generation after me sure did miss alot of things... erm... not all of them :P . But God has bigger and better waterfall in heaven i think.. i can only imagine.

Its been months since i update my blog, which again brings a question that my dad used to ask me when i was young " You serious bout this or is it just one of your "Hangat hangat tahi ayam?" which translates to "hot hot chicken shit" hehehe.. well basically means that only when you started it you're on fire and excited about it.. but once the excitement dies out.. you're gonna stop. Just like chicken shit.. haha

I dunno, probably i do have the tendency to do that.. but will try not to on this one.. at least i can keep things here, or thoughts or just let ppl know im still alive. I do have bad memories, even up to the extend i can forget a person's name after like 5 mins when they told me their names.sigh.. why la.. am i gonna be senile when i grow older, or when im 50? man.. the thought has been going thru my head for some times and its kinda scary. not to be able to remember ppl, remember your loved ones.. where you were , what you're supposed to do.. which makes get scared growing old sometimes.

wow.. from chicken shit to growing old.. man.. talk about being random, which i am notoriously known for too. haha.. oh well, diversify your life right?? OH YEA.. for those celebrating Gawai, Happy Gawai for all of ya, dont get drunk too much! :P And drive safely. ok the, gotta get back to work :P have a nice day!

This is the first post ever, in my attempt to blog. I see that i have so many questions.. and sometimes i keep asking the same question again and again, mostly trivial questions but when i come to think of it.. its this trivial things that made those big significant even in our lives become much more interesting. So in my my journey in life.. this i will record, if one day i might lose my memory out of whatever reasons, do show me back to my blog :)

My life has been impacted by so many events and so many ppl that i cant even put them all on paper.. yes partly cos i have forgotten and partly there's so many. I am forever so grateful to those that i come across in my life, even if it was not so great of an experience and even some that i would like to forget.. it has shaped me and my thoughts. I believe God has place all these events in our lives and all these ppl in our lives for us to realise and to achieve our purpose. Which in the end gives feeling of content and im pretty sure it would be such a great joy. i dont see it that there is only one thing and one goal our destiny is and our calling, that once we achieved it we just disappear.. but there are so many of it that we can just go on living our lives and be joyful that we have accomplished these many things.

And this.. is my journey.. my life.. Towards my destiny.
